    Trail Conditions in WNC?

Planning to come up from FL to ride Pisgah/Dupont next week and was wondering if anyone knew of local trail conditions. I saw that Dupont is currently closed, and will likely re open tomorrow, but I do not want to damage any trails so I'd like to avoid muddy conditions if possible. Can anyone post up any info they have pertaining to the local Asheville regional trail conditions?

    Thanks!

This is the last I've heard regarding Dupont:
    NCFS 2018 Newsdesk

"Forest officials expect conditions will improve enough for trail reopening by Saturday Oct. 13, 2018.

Please refer to the DSRF website: NCFS- DuPont State Recreational Forest or the NCFS Facebook page for updates."

Let's update this thread whenever anyone hears about them re-opening.

Trails are just fine. The wind has not stopped since the rain and stuff has mostly dried out already; I ran last night instead of riding because thought would be too muddy, nope, would've been fine.

Thanks! I just called NC Forest Service, and all roads and trails at DuPont are open.

Did trail work on Reasonover (DuPont) today. It is 9.75 out of 10 good to ride. Water crossings are a bit high.
