Just a reminder of the XC race at Briar Chapel June 19th. There will be a preride of the course this Saturday at 5pm. We will be meeting at the Briar Chapel Clubhouse. I would urge some of you guys (beginner to vet) to come out and race, otherwise some of us slow weekend warriors might make a podium, get a big head thinking we are the shizz, then ultimately have our self-esteem destroyed in a future race where some of you actually decide to show.

How early do you need to sign up for these? Would I be able to just sign up for the July and/or August one?

You are encouraged to register early using the meetup. This is so the race directors have an idea of how many riders are going to show for each category...With that said, you should be able to register on race day beginning an hour or so before racing begins. I am pretty sure this was the case last year, and I know this is the case for the first race at Briar Chapel.
    Hope that helps.

Didn't you podium at the Burn 24, "slow weekend warrior"? On a singlespeed, none-the-less.
