If I didn't think I would die trying, I would love to be there. Perhaps next year when I've been riding more than a few months.

We are all going to die eventually. Might as well ride. Worst that can happen is that you don't finish. I signed up to try to regain my pride after DNFing at Fools Gold. One nice thing about this event is it's only $50 and most of these death rides are $100.
Friends don let friends ride road bikes.

Plus this one is more rolling terrain rather than mountains.
When the going gets weird its bedtime.

Great route. Way easier than Fools Gold even if FG had been dry.

This is not death ride, for sure.

And $50 is pretty cheap for 100K race.

Very fun ride. The roads are nice and rural, no big climbs, just lots of rolling terrain.

True mountain bike trails. Several small creek and ditch crossings, lots of bridges, and plenty of logs to hop. Nothing too technical tho, easy to walk if you aren't feeling up to riding it.
