Ride the Divide Movie - Greenville Mar 31st 2011

    Hi everyone.

Our film Ride The Divide coming to Greenville on the night of Thursday, March 31 at the Camelot Cinemas at 8 p.m. as a benefit for the Upstate chapter of SORBA. I think this is going to be the social event of the cycling season and we would expect a large turnout for this event with your help in getting the word out to the cycling and outdoor adventure community.

I have attached our press release with all the information about the film. Please put together an eblast to send out to everyone on your email subscriber and membership lists as soon as possible. I have also included a photo of racer Matthew Lee and our jpeg logo for use as artwork for events calendar postings ... please get this event posted on your web sites and Facebook pages right away.

Here too is our Facebook event link for this event: https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=133073440096901#!/event.php?eid=158818037505555

With your help, we can have an event that the outdoor community will be talking about for a long time. I look forward to meeting you all at the show on March 31.

If you are looking to purchase tickets (advance tickets are significantly cheaper than they will be at the door the night of the show!), here is the link for that: https://www.imathlete.com/events/Eve...aspx?fEID=7982

Richard Ridlehuber from Spartanburg is planning on doing that race this year. He has been doing insanely long rides every weekend for several months already.
Friends don let friends ride road bikes.

We have 2010 Tour Divide racer Cricket Butler with us tonight (on her decked out Tour bike) and hanging around to answer questions about the Ride

Great turnout last night, half dozen or so for the Alley Cat ride prior to the Movie

and around 60 -70 folks showed up for the Ride the Divide

thanks to Matt at Ride on Bikes for all of the Swag for the raffle. Jeff with Go-Green Events organizing the Alley Cat Ride

and to Cricket from Charlotte who talked about what's it's like to Ride the Divide and how to prepare

And a Big Thanks to all of the people that came out to see the flick!
