    Pleasant Ridge (NEW TRAILS)

The new Pleasant Ridge trail system is OPEN.
It is a great option for those near the Greenville area.
Very nice machine and hand built single track with some alternate lines. It is only a 6 mile loop, but plenty of elevation change and technical features. Run it both directions for a great ride.
It is running fast and packed already. Go check it out.

Props to Shrimper and Upstate SORBA!

Really fun trail, honestly I was surprised at how nice it was. Enough elevation change to make you work a little for your 6 miles. Thanks SORBA!

I made it up there for the first time this afternoon. Very fun little trail. I wish it was a bit closer to home.

Keep in mind that Pleasant Ridge is a directional trail. I spoke with Upstate SORBA last night at Paris Mtn and they said the direction changes from time to time, but that it should be posted at the trail head. Also, per Pleasant Ridge FB page:

    the Directional Info
    Mountain Bikers - Clockwise
    Hikers - Counter Clockwise

Pleasant Ridge JFA Trail changes direction every month. This month it is counter clockwise (I think); next month it will be clockwise and so on. Please obey this rule so the park keeps the trail open to bikers. Also note that on this trail hikers yield to bikers, which is atypical of other trails.
