    Pisgah - 1, Spearsquish - 0

It would have been nice to have more than 100 miles on the odometer before this
    sort of thing started happening.

Oh well, it's way down there at the bottom of the down tube. Frames NEVER break
    there, right ?

I wonder how that happened? I don't recall any rocks or anything on yesterdays ride that could have caused that. Surely you were not climbing Pilot Mtn. Rd. that fast!

Wow, that's a good dinger to shred the cable like that. Just put some Kentucky chrome on it, that'll keep it together :P

You apparently have a weight issue...

I'd recommend taking the odometer off of your frame. That extra weight will cause the front end to drop mush faster going downhill, thereby dropping your bottom bracket as well. Normally, 29er wheels are supposed to 'glide' over obstacles, like roots and in your case rocks.

I'd really be interested to know where the 'true' center of gravity is on that frame. I'd be willing to guess that by simply removing the odometer, the center of gravity will shift more to the rear of the bike, correcting any future issues with that type of thing.

    Happy Trails!

I dented the downtube of my last f/s bike w/in the first week. Meh. Ride it like you stole it and be glad you didn't get the carbon version. Also, how the hell did you get one of those already? I thought that they were a mythological model this year.
