    Not wet enough around here

It is not wet enough around here in western NC lately , so I am packing up and heading to Scotland and Wales (places in Wales get 150 "per year). I am looking forward to some great riding, but also studying trails in wet environments.

Here is a few spots we will be hitting:

I had hoped to host a DuPont workday this month before I left, but time has slipped me by. Should have many new great ideas when I return.

one hundred and fifty feet per year?!?!?!?!? I'd bet they're riding with scuba gear! I didn't know you could get fins with SPD attachments!

Opps, I meant 150 inches per year ( " not '). That is still a lot of rain.

Man, you will have a great time. I rode Coed-y-Brenin over 10 years ago and remains one of my favorite places. Have fun!

My friend Dayffd Davis is who did all the planning/design/implementation for the Coed-y-Brenin area: http://www.trailswales.com/

I will be spending a fair bit of time with him when we are in Wales.

Yes to lots of photos, when it comes to trails I always do that.

No to tasting the local "black pudding", congealed sheep's blood has no appeal to me.
