Welcome, if you haven't hit Fork Area Trail System yet those are some great trails pretty close to you. I'm in Columbia and ride Harbison pretty regular on weekends. Riding here (Harbison)on Sunday, welcome to join.

Parson Mountain is also about an hour away, just south of Abbeville. Some of the trails are well worn, but big trail system.

    Go to sorbacsra.org

There are many many miles of high quality backcountry, cross-country style singletrack within a reasonable driving distance from your area totally separate from FATS. Personally, I prefer other options over FATS. Plus, you'll have a much better chance of meeting locals to ride with via the website above.
