The gear dictator is useless. Can you not get new pedals? Still, probably not a fun ride. Good luck! Are you racing?

I am. But need the ride for saturdays practice. need it....and I can; but not likely in time to ride saturday, which is why I made this thread. I have saturday at 6 pm and roundtrip sunday arranged, just need a one way ride to the resort. The bike shop has 8 repairs ahead of me. Good thing I wont be racing the hardtail.

Just get Magic to install those pedals I gave you. I know they say Specialized and not Giant but they will work fine. Is it the pedal that is bent or the crank arm itself?

Do you ride clips, or flats?

I do enduro and downhill as of now, with 4x and dual slalom in the future when I can finish my race preps and have more money....and find such events. But anyway...since I treat the hardtail similiar to a dirtbike in corners, I ride flats. More confident being able to drop my feet quickly or hang a foot for balance while I hook around the rear tire on berms. I dont like having my feet clipped in. I use spiked pedals and 5 ten riding boots.

Does anyone know if dragracer88"s name is Brendan. His picture and story sounds familiar. If it is I was in the group of riders behind him at rocky knob a few weeks ago. He went down hard at the top of pb&j. We are the ones who called 911 and just wondering how he made out
