    middle black trail work

Nicely done, whoever did it. All the ride arounds have been covered in logs and there is only one distinct line through now.

There is gonna be some carnage tomorrow at the enduro when the people racing expect lines to be there that are now covered up.

Unfortunately it's not the "endurbros" that created all those lines.

Cool cannot wait to see! Was just up there last week scouting with some buddies for the enduro (they raced, I didn't) and we were scoping lines through the braided sections of trail where you had 2-3" trees creating 12 different lines

Also read about the big log getting chopped. A little bit of a bummer but if the guys smarter than me about trail maintenance thought it needed to go for sustainability of teh trail, I'll accept that and shred on!

    Nice.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is "Middle Black" considered the part between Pressley Gap and where the rework was done on Lower? Or is it the part above that?

You got 4 parts of Black Mountain Trail.

Lower: From 276 up to intersection of Black Mountain Trail and Thrift.
Middle: From Thrift intersection up to Pressley.
Upper: From Pressley Gap up PAST Turkey Pen to Clawhammer.

Then the 4th part is from Clawhammer to Club Gap. Don't really know what folks call this but I suppose it gets called "Upper" a lot too.

I think of these as the hike a bike Section, the ditch where there used to be a trail section, and the fun section.

That ditch is one of my all-time favorite trails! Definitely still a trail there, but it is a bit eroded...
