    Lost GPS on 1206

Hey everybody, I lost my Garmin 305 while out riding last night. I'm pretty sure it came off my bars while descending 1206 to NMRC.

I know it's a long shot but if anyone finds it (in one piece) let me know!

So that I have record of the silliness that I put myself through (so I can remember what to put you guys through)

Last night I started down at the French Broad overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway->Bent Creek Gap Rd->479->BRP->276->1206->5000->BRP back down. 47 miles 8050 climbing. 22 miles of gravel, 25 miles of pavement. Sounds like a good grinder stage for the Pisgah 36 to me.....

Well, that crushes any thoughts I had about running my new shiny Garmin, aka Precious, on my knobby bike....
    Good luck Pisgah P.

That sucks. I lost my 205 outside my rented house on Kiawah Island last year after the 1/2 marathon. Despite calling the rental co the next day, it was never found. Ha. I bet it was.

I will say the 310 XT is very nice. ;-)

i'd check that chattery section of road coming down 1207 between Pilot Cove trailhead and Slate Rock Creek trailhead i think i lost a filling or two...

didn't see anything Saturday while on 1206. it'll be a tough find all covered in road dust.
