    Long Gravel Ride

If the Monster Cross, the Dirt Diggler, and the REEB Ranch Century didn't quite itch yer tickle, here's one for the gravel masochists.

I don't know quite how to describe it other than really hard. I'd routed it last winter and done it as a 3-day in May as a bikepack trip but got a wild hair to see if it would go in a day. I guess 7am-11pm counts as a day. It's incredibly challenging and rewarding and encompasses every type of terrain I can imagine; the smooth black asphalt of Tanassee Gap Rd. to the gnarled black diamond (ok maybe a little stretch) singletrack of Black Dome. I want to slightly reroute the Panthertown Valley section and will prolly do so in April as another one-day.

Is this posted on Ride With GPS also? I saw this, or one very similar not too long ago and thought that would be a great (long) day in the woods! Thanks for sharing.

I haven't put it on Ride with GPS. It is on MTBP as "The Carolina Panther." Part of it this ride parallels the Monster Cross Route.

If I ever put a crew together similar to the OMTM folk out on the West Coast, I'm calling it Club PFS. Plain F*&king Stupid. Next on the agenda is Everesting.

It would likely mesh well with the #BadIdeaFanClub kickin' around that area!
