    Help, Stolen Dean Singlespeed AVL
Looking for my friend Jane's Dean Ti singlespeed. It is an extra small frame with sliders, set up singlespeed. White Sid World Cup Fork, and Mavic Wheels. Please send any info to pa-poose @ hotmail.com or Asheville Police Department.

WHAT!?!?!? Jane worked and waited for so long to get that frame! I helped w/ the spec and build when I worked at BioWheels.....this one hit's a bit close to home. That was definitely one of my favorite builds.

    UGH

    How awful! that's a beauty.

For the record, I have a tiny ti hardtail w/ a white fork, Mavic wheels and blue Oury grips. Please no one tackle me if you see me on the trail ;-)

I'll be sure to keep an eye out. when you see a bike like that, you know it's somebody's baby. How did it get stolen?

Given how sweet that bike looks, I'm thinking "justifiable homicide" for whoever finds the perp.

    Damn can people REALLY suck.

    Oh no!
So sorry to hear about the theft, Jane. I'll keep my fingers crossed that your beautiful bike finds its way back to you.

Happy to report this story has a happy ending. Bike was called in by a good citizen. The bike was found on the side of Reems Creek. Not sure on all the details, but the good part is that Jane got her bike back!! Stoked that there are still good/honest people in the world. Way to go Asheville.

That's a rare happy ending. Time to invest in a lock, at least it will slow them down.

Glad I read the "found" post before we wen to Pappas today. Seeing the bike on a rack would have had a very different (possibly embarrassing) reaction. I saw her enjoying a post-ride meal with friends - made for a nice ending to the weekend.

That would have been hilarious in a twisted kind of way!
