    Heintooga trails info - anyone?

What does anyone know about these trails? Technical? Flowy? Single, double? Easy to find, follow? Worth a trip from Waynesville?
    Thx

Howdy. Heintooga is a maintained hardpack acess road out from the top of Soco mtn on the Blue Ridge parkway. There is no singletrack at all, but it is a good ride if you do the loop from Cherokee up the park, down Heintooga and out Big Cove. I recommend a cross bike, 29er, or a simi-slick tire as the road is pretty fast. Lots of wildlife out there too.

I have done this ride several times, like stated above it is hard packed double track with a mix of road on the parkway. Great loop with lots of climbing and the scenery is top notch!

We camp there and ride the loop at least twice a year

Writing about it makes me want to go right NOW
