Have you ever had your picture on the cover of a magazine?

I just thought that look on mater's face was just too funny not to share with the rest of the world.

My son was on the cover once

I don't think he's beating anyone in that picture in a race though. Maybe in a goofy face competition.
    Maybe.

I was once the cover boy for "Lard Ass Quarterly." You don't want to see the centerfold.

I don't think so. I've been in the paper and I do have some damn silly ass faces that I can make.

Last year BIKE magazine had an issue with 50 best trails or something like that, and Brown Wave at FATS made the list. On that page, in the top left corner, was a very tiny picture (1"x1" maybe) of a dude in a blaze orange underarmor shirt getting a little air.

    That was me.

    Boo-yah.

The same pic was on Bicycling's website as part of this web-only article. The pics aren't there anymore apparently.

Yeah. I'm kind of a big deal. People know me.

I got in Dirt Rag once. A race in Russelville, Arkansas sometime
    back in '03.

It was on page 572 or something, and was about the size of my
    pinkie-nail.

But I was on a podium with a shaved head, polyester butterfly
collar shirt, and a draft beer in my hand.

"Glory days, they'll pass you by....."

    *sniff*

Okay, I'm going to go cry in my Natty Lite now.

Someday, Tomato, you will be old like me. Assuming you
    are wily enough.

Yeah, it's strange. But oh well.

I was in the Rag way back in the late 80's, or was it the very early 90's?
Last summer, I was caught on film leading the ORAMM gang out of Old Fort.
    That's right, follow me... http://www.blueridgeadventures.net/oramm.html
Unfortunately, the finish was a different story, as I looked and felt like the entire field ran me over. Beer made it all better though.
