Good family (read: flat) trails/paths around Sylva, Waynesville?

We've been to the Little Tennessee River Greenway in Franklin. Anyone know of other flat, perhaps more shaded, rides around here? Paved, crushed stone, dirt road, whatever...
    Thx.

    Bryson City, Deep Creek

The first 2.5 miles or so of the Deep Creek Trail in the GSMNP is open to bicycles. It is the section that folks use when tubing in Deep Creek, but you can continue to ride up stream until you reach the no bikes sign. Flat, dirt trail that is an old road bed, very senic, shady, but it can be crowded with people walking with tubes. Early morning would be the best time to ride.

Well, if they're carrying tubes, it won't hurt too much when we nail 'em.
