    Fire Mountain - Which Bike

This may sound silly but I really can't decide what bike to bring to NC during our family vacation for a ride at Fire Mountain. Rough problem, huh?

So, for one day out there which would you bring? Is the trail smooth and flowing enough to justify a hardtail?

    In a nutshell:

Bring the 29+ hardtail that I LOVE on my local singletrack trails? Kona Wozo (think Honzo that fits fat tires), 140mm fork. This thing fits my size well and smashes everything around here.

    or

Bring my 27.5 full suspension bike that is great but I rarely ride around here? Nukeproof TR275, 150/130 travel. Plenty capable but I like the longer Wozo so I rarely use this.

Fire Mountain is really smooth with almost no technical features. I rode my FS trailbike and wished I was on my hardtail, so my suggestion would be to bring whatever you are most comfortable with on faster flowier trails.

Thanks - I did take the Wozo and it was outstanding. Fire mountain was great to ride and super smooth.
