    Dupont Route

Anybody care to throw out a 20-30 mile route in Dupont that includes, Mine Mountain, Burnt Mountain, Cedar Rock, Big Rock, Reasonover, Ridgeline, Airstrip, and anything else super sweet and flowy? Someone on here gave me some great info a few years ago, not sure what happened to the thread, but I can't find it.

    Thanks!

Not sure on the mileage, but I'll give this one a shot -- that's covering a lot of ground; a lot of these trails have seen recent work and are REALLY fast right now, so be sure to turn on your GPS to report your times for Strava ;-) ...

    Park at the farm
    Ride to Ridgeline (forest road)
    Ridgeline down, turn left
    Left up Jim Branch
    Right on Isaac Heath
Straight/right onto Locust to the road
    Right on road to Hilltop
    Around Hilltop
Right on road, keep going until you climb up to Airstrip
    Go down Airstrip
Left then straight(ish) onto Corn Mill Shoals
    Cross the river
Go left on Burnt Mtn, all the way around to the road
Go left and climb Big Rock
Find your way down (Cedar Rock)
    Right on Little River
    Left on Corn Mill Shoals
    Get your feet wet again
Start climbing, go right on Shoals Trail
    Right on Laurel Ridge
Right (yes, right!, uphill on switchbacks) on Mine Mountain, up and around and down
Right on the road, around to Reasonover
    Reasonover all the way around
    Climb out, turn right
Conservation Road to Buck Forest Road, turn right, arrive at your car!

    And here are more...

...at the PAS site: Pisgah Area SORBA DuPont Routes

They haven't been updated since the trails program at DSRF added some segments--when possible, add Hilltop to your ride, and be sure to check out Cascade...

+1 on Cascade, plus Micajah if you can fit in that side of the road.
