    DuPont Route

If you park at Lake Imaging, what is the best route for riding the following trails, Ridgeline, Jim Branch, Hilltop, And Pitch pine?

A route I use is. lake imaging to jim branch to isaac heath to tarklin branch to thomas cemetary to sandy trail to tarklin branch to shoal creek to rifle trail to boundary to hicory mtn to ridgeline.
doesn't do all the trails you listed, but it's a nice loop.

Go to the pisgah area sorba site and look at the "Briery and Back" route. After you pop out from Locust trail, instead of turning left on Lake Imaging Rd., turn right and take Hilltop down to Grassy Creek Falls and back out onto Lake Imaging Rd. You can also change it a bit to hit Pitch Pine by not going up Chestnut Oak and Oak Tree, but doing the long climb up Joanna Rd. instead.

Here's the link to the PAS route: http://www.pisgahareasorba.org/?p=1098

This is probably my favorite route in DuPont. I also usually take Hooker Creek Trail to Ridgeline instead of Hickory Mtn Rd.
