Charlotte and Surrounding Area Freeride Trails

Does anyone know of any good freeride trails around the Charlotte area? I have lived here for about a year and thought I would've come across a couple by now. I ride backyard trail a good bit but I'm looking for more advanced features.

I am willing to help build/dig if people have private land/trails. Also looking to ride with other like minded riders in the area.

Freeride is dead... long live Enduro

Seriously I think the OP is asking about gap jumps, etc. not actual "freeride". Freeride to me is Utah, CO, etc where you push up a dusty mountain side and then ride down. No trail, no lines, nothing built... Freedom.

OP... There are plenty of spots in Charlotte with gap jumps, sketchy wooden structures, etc. but most of it is on a need to know basis. I would suggest posting on the TarHeel Trailblazers site. They are more XC focused but plenty of them like to hit jumps and get rowdy.

If your looking for more advanced riding with bigger jumps look up @ncgrovebmx it's right outside Charlotte near concord. He is actually holding a jam April 28th. There are other spots like @bumbysfunfarm which is about to open as a legit dirt jump Mtb park coming in the next year. Check out my instagram @standard_trailrider33 for daily mountain bike trail post and other 2 wheel shananigans
