    Buckhorn trail clearing

A couple weeks ago I cleared the upper section of Buckhorn that drops into Twin Falls.

It's the Buckhorn section about 3/4 the way up clawhammer and you drop down to your left.

If you ride that section you know how bad the sticker bushes were in the section just off of clawhammer.

Took me about 1.5 hours but it is way nice now.

I have been bloodied a few times from the stickers is the section in past years. Not to mention the vines, nettles, etc

I thought it was time to do something about it.

More like removing giant sticker bush neck tie rippers

These things were hanging down from the trees at neck height and camouflaged inside regular tree branches.

    Welcome
Let me know what you think next time you drop into that section of trail

I have a miniature pair of loppers that fit into my backpack

All plastic except for the cutting blade and only 15 inches long
    Very lightweight but pretty powerful

I rode the two-track section of Buckhorn from Clawhammer not to long ago and it wasn't overgrown at all; it's amazing how fast that stuff gets grown over.
