    Boone for a long weekend?

Headed to Boone Friday morning to ride for the weekend. I'm going to ride Rocky Knob Friday afternoon, Beech Mountain Saturday, and looking for a Sunday morning ride. I'm thinking about hitting up Warrior Creek on the way home as a fall back plan.

Is there any must visit restaurants? I know I want to visit Appalachian Mountain Brewery, but as I understand it they don't serve food, only have a food truck. Where's a good place to eat?
    I wouldn't **** you, you're my favorite turd.

Sounds like a fun weekend in the high country! We have a little bit of everything in Boone. Vidalia, Proper, Coyote Kitchen are all pretty good. There are more options in Blowing Rock. You will need reservations but Artisanal and Gamekeeper are really good. This weekend will be very busy so make reservations and purchase slope tickets at Beech in advance.

I would skip AMB (corporate owned) and instead try Lost Province Brewing. Great food too.

actual local here, AMB is not corporate owned and does a ton for our community. Booneshine and AMB are the places to be!

    Interesting article about AMB here:

Also, for reference, this is a link to search for independent craft brewers. AMB is listed.

I got some bad info. Played disc golf with a guy associated with the brewery in Blowing Rock. He told me they were corporate owned and blah blah. Should have fact checked.
