    Avery conditions?

Anybody been down Avery recently? I'm thinking about working it
into a ride for some out of town friends this weekend, but haven't hit
    it in a while.

    Thanks,
    ZB
Yeah, it's strange. But oh well.

Please don't ride the trails when they are wet.

I was down it the second week of April. Overall it was in fun shape, although the big tree washout is getting hard to miss as the trail stays muddy there and it keeps narrowing. I thought there was more loose rock and deep ruts since the last time I rode it, but that just adds to the thrills.

This is a rain forest, the trails are always wet to some degree.
Especially this spring, which is our normal amount of rain that we should be getting.

The past few years have been dry and this was not normal Pisgah weather.

I usually wear out 2-3 disc brake pad sets a year when Pisgah is having it's normal weather.
