    Asheville, NC bike junkyard?

Someone was telling me there is a non-profit bicycle junkyard in Asheville, NC. I live nearby and would like to check it out, can anyone give me the name and an address or directions to this so-called place? Thanks

ReCyclery is located in the basement of the French Broad Food Co-op on Biltmore.

You should check out my neighbor's basement! ReCycle folks are great though.
Now you're cast of steel and cast aside. Broken dreams maybe, but you haven't died

hmmm... so is this just a place where people can work on their bike for free...aimed at people who can't afford a bike shop? Or is this really like a junkyard...say where a person trying to stay 8-speed could go scrounge for antique Shimano parts?

I have the same question...Do they charge for the parts and service, or do you have to trade them something to get something or volunteer for a few hours?
