    Check out Marrington...

When I lived in the Goose Creek area a few years back, we mostly rode at Marrington Plantation off Red Bank Road. The facility is the Navy base's recreation area, so you now have to get a security check and annual pass--my last one cost ~$10 and it took a week or so for the paperwork to go through. (Don't want any MTB terrorists near the nuke sub school!.) Check these links for more info:

I just moved down here from Michigan and applied for my Marrington pass today at lunch.

I've ridden with a few people on a couple of trails that weren't worth the time it took to get there. Don't bother with the River Greenway, and wait until it cools down (bugs dissapear) to ride the Palmetto Trail (mutant spiders hanging from giant spiderwebs crossing the trail every 50 yards or so)

PM me if you'd like to meet up and ride. Get out to the ITT building on the Naval base soon, as it takes a few weeks for the background check.
