    2010 PMBAR Smack Talk thread

Who will come in second place at the 2010 PMBAR for an unprecedented third year in a row?

Dicky and his employee of the year, Thad.

    U can't touch this.

PS: We will not be wearing matching pajamas this year.

Rich- if your children were British, I would eat them.

Fortunately for you, they are not.

I am happy to report I did secure sponsors for my checkpoint!!

    AND

I spoke to Chuck. Anyone arriving at the checkpoint in the big ring will be forced to drink a PBR. Riders in their middle or small rings will have the PBR "inserted"!

So, the AZT 750 is part of his taper program...man, I'm doing it all wrong.

I predict Team NINSFA doesn't make the white board this year since their key rider has gone MIA (Massive Increase of the Arse). The replacement rider curl in the fetal position while trying to comprehend the scale of this event and tears will fall 2nd guessing MCD's poor route choices.

that smak sounds like it was written on your blackberry from a porta-john it's a race, not a chance to try out all the new back country toilets! and this year i'm not dragging an anchor behind me all day....don't worry, i'll save you some of your own beer!

    Weakest smack talk ever!!!

Even with a broken ankle I plan on making the white board, making it back in time to break all of your windows, drink all of your beer, then drive through the license check, hand them your license from your stolen car and let them know my BAC is .40 off of your beer before I stomp the gas headed for Looking Glass falls so I can leave your car in Pisgah forever. Then I will ride your backup bike back down to the start and repeat 98 (make that 97 since SuperDave is out) times. WHUHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA

****I don't actually endorse DUI's if you enjoy riding somewhere other than your backyard

... and if we just ... 1000 yard stare

PMBAR man I'm getting cow eyes just thinking about last year.Ashevilleyetirider pulled me 68 miles to make the white board and I said never again.....the Pisgah 36 was very enjoyable this year after the pain from PMBAR.

Even reserving a few hours to revisit my dry-heaving rock at Bradley/1206 from P36 a few weeks ago, Paul and I will be on the white board - and that's with 5 checkpoints. So go ahead and and slap CPs at the ends of Summey Cove and Trace Ridge, we're there!

I will do my annual Toast by the river to racers, volunteers and The PP Duo.

Additional toast to the new Little PP crew leader!

A special moment for the Puppy PP. Follow Floyd to the White Board!

Now you're cast of steel and cast aside. Broken dreams maybe, but you haven't died

My teammate told me he hasn't touched his bike since last year's pmbar and I'm still worried that I won't be able to keep up

I've been doing laps in Bent Creek, trying to figure out the fastest way to Gene's Slick, so I'm pretty sure I have the navigation nailed but does anyone know where Laurel Mtn. is? I hear there is chance we might go there.

I enlist you to carry me (and my bike) up black in the beginning so I can begin my race on the bike. This will be best for me so my therapist says.

Kumbaya... I'll happily carry a piece of your bike, preferably something light like a section of handlebar.

I will be recording Thad and I's winning effort in HD quality digital moving pictures. I'm thinking this will be the next Race Across the Sky or perhaps Blue Velvet Part Two.

    Anchor my ass.
Stop chatting with the checkpoint volunteers and the official PMBAR photographer and you'll finish an hour earlier. (Brado, if you see him out there and he starts talking, kick him in the ass for me and yell "Get outta here!" please......)

I literally feel nauseous for missing PMBAR this year. God, I hate it. My lame scheduling skills failed me. BUT I've just set marked the first weekend of May for 2011 through 2061.

Best of luck to you all!!!

Post ride beers and bike wash available at The Hub (Pisgah Tavern) until Jimi calls it quit'30. 4 beers on draft and PBR in cans for your enjoyment. Good Luck. Maybe you can finish before dark and have a beer or few.
