    I'm sorry

This event is conflicting with Moogfest. Could you reschedule?

OK, the Halloween Gathering part is coming together fast. If you don't want to race but want to come out and spectate and camp in Pisgah for the weekend, put this on your calendar. (registration required /details to follow) We'll have a costume contest, group rides, slow races, bike polo, lawn-games of all sorts, and family friendly fun.

You guys remember the gatherings, right?

I remember you "lost" a slow race. (pics from Kuykendall 2005)

Whatever happened to that laughing skull? Still regret not snagging every one.

Edit - Bones' bike was the deceased Good 'nuff. Probably and end table base or garden trellis by now. Sigh, I liked that bike.

A "slow race" sounds like something I could be very competitive in.

"Bones' Bike" (aka: Good 'nuff) ended up a side car bike convert before heading out to the scrap heap....RIP

I have always wanted to come to this and meet some more of the NC crew, seems like a good group of peeps. Would there be room at Cove for a pop up camper, or should I just man up and bring a tent, or pass out in the gravel?

Jim, Come on down! or up.... whatever it is for you.
Please note that there is a creek crossing going into Cove Creek that has drowned a car or two. I'm not sure I'd want to try to drag a pop-up across it. Actually, I've seen that done, too, but you know, YMMV.

Cool. I think in light of that, and for ease of transportation I may just bring a tent. The weather is likely to be nice and cool, and that's my kinda tenting weather. I'll see if I can get the vacation time and maybe make it up that way.

The Double Dare is a duo only event. If you want to wuss out and cry in the woods alone, wait until the Pisgah 36 in March.

OK, but when "He Who's Name May Not Be Typed" comes back all jealous I'm going to tell him to talk to you.

    Homewrecker.

Oh, and by the way, I'll cry in Pisgah whenever I damned well see fit.

    hoo-ray! DD is back!

I would be "in" except for the fact that we'll be on our Halloweenymoon in NOLA!
I promise I won't get re-married this next year so I can ride again in '11! Maybe by then I can find somebody who makes 29'ers in hot pink...

Stupid New Orleans... I'll be sure to drink one in everyone's honor. The other 23 are all mine...
