What did your Range/Sight come with from the dealer?

Just curious, to make sure everybody is getting everything from the dealer that comes in the box from Norco.

What items came with your Sight or Range?

    Let's see...

-An owner's manual that had no relevance whatsoever to my Sight.

-A bell (standard issue in Canada, eh?)

    -Rockshox and Cane Creek manuals.

-A bag of reflectors, that thankfully the bike mechanic spared me the trouble of removing!

-The inner tubes, since I requested my wheels/tires to be set-up tubeless w/ Orange Seal.

I'm pretty sure that's it, but if I remember anything else I'll post it later...

My Range 7.3 Carbon came with the following:

    - Generic Norco owner's manual, plus manuals for the fork & dropper post

    - Bag of reflectors

    - Bell

    - Bleed blocks, hose holders, and pad spacers for SLX brakes.

    - Volume spacers for the fork

    - A few cable port assemblies and the cable holder thingies that goes with them

I think that's it, I'll have to find my parts box and go through it to be sure.

I didn't get anything which I found really odd. Didn't even get a manual. I have a 2015 Sight 7.1 and thought that gave a tuning guide for the cane creek shock.

So you're that type of customers ...

To be honest the manuals, both CC and Norco are useless. All the useless stuff ended up in the trash. It's not like they tried to steal anything for you.

The last bike I purchased came with a full bleed kit for the brakes and reverb and all the spacers, spoke wrench, tubeless valves and every single manual with the parts associated with the bike, plus a dedicated manual specific to the bike. That's why I was curious. I went from one end of the spectrum to the other. Its not a big deal, more like a curiosity.

I customized my build w dealer swapouts etc... didn't get anything but the bike and and the extra seal kit that come w the pike i swapped in for the revelation. Manuals that are not bike, and setup specific just end up in recycle bin... bell - could put that on the cruiser - but otherwise all the other stuff - meh... about the only thing I'd use are the cable port assemblies, but when i went to my shop and say hey - this is rattling and looks like the reason is "x" - they simply grabbed one up from the shop and took care of me - n/c... fwiw - not sure what i was supposed to possibly receive until this thread... when i put my inline on - it was aftermarket purchase so i did get the box, and all related manuals etc...

Who in hell said anything about stealing?!?! The OP asked a simple question regarding what came with the bike!

well then it's better if you know that Norco bikes, expensive or not, don't come with all the things you had with your previous bike. I've built a lot of them and I suppose the one I've built in oz are not different from the one they sell worldwide.

Out of curiosity, what was the brand of your previous bike? What you had with your old bike is not the norm -unfortunately- .

It was a Scott Genius 710. Literally I couldn't believe all the stuff that came with it.

    Reverb Bleed Kit.
DT Swiss tubeless valves and tape.
    Spacers, bleed blocks.
Super good manual that was applicable to bike.
All the manuals for all the components
    Fox CD for tuning.

Here is the list of the things I had with my Norco Sight carbon 7.2 -
    • Manuals : Norco, RS, CC with a small pen and a small allen key
    • 2 Tokens for the Pike
    • Lights, reflectors and all the useless crap

It was the norm for the good Norco's we have sold. Not enough since Norco Australia was sold out in few weeks. No wonder why, the Sight and Range outperformed almost any other bike of their respective categories.
