    Range Derailleur Hanger Alignment Issue

    Hello!

I have a 2014 Range C 7.1 and I am having problems with the derailleur hanger not staying straight. I have a hanger alignment tool and I can straighten is until its absolutely perfect but I still can not get my XX1 drive train to shift correctly out of the 10 tooth cog to the 12 tooth. After a few rides I will check the hanger alignment again and it is always a little off. Does anybody have any suggestions or anything?

    Thanks!

If I were you, I would throw this up on the drivetrain forum as I don't think it is a bike specific problem. This forum is dead. Lucky to get a post a week.

I truly don't believe this is a drive train issue but rather an issue with the Syntace X-12 interface. I will post over there as well but Ill leave this here just in case someone else has the same problem.

    Range Derailleur Hanger Alignment Issue

    Yes, I've noticed something similar.
I wound up using a bit of loctite on the flat surface between the hanger and the frame. From there I aligned the hanger as well as I could and made the 5mm Allen bolt pretty tight.
Seems to be better now and less prone to going out of alignment.
