    Norco sight 2013 1X11 conversion

This has probably been done and dusted but can anyone point me in the direction of a successful 1x11 conversion thread/ideas for a 2013 Norco Sight, no matter what I do - or the LBS - it only takes a half back pedal for the chain to run down the cassette.

I have also tried a 10 speed cassette 11-40 and same result.

    Thanks.
    Don't grow up, it's a trap.

You'd be better off asking in the drivetrain forum as this isn't Norco specific.

However my understanding is that it's the big gears of the cassette that are the issue, so you want the chainline to line up more so with those ones. Spacing the chainring further in should therefore help. Those running a 64BCD chainring on a 2x crankset will also have a good chainline, however only smaller chainrings come in 64BCD.
