    My Norco Bigfoot Rebuild Project

Last year I picked up a 2008 Norco Bigfoot. The components were in good shape but the frame had seen better days. I got it for the right price so my plan was to give it a good rebuild. It was a small frame so I figured it would make an excellent bike for the GF.

Here's what I had in mind once finished

So a few weeks ago I took it apart and sent it off to the powder coater

Here's what the frame looked like after the tear down

As you can see the frame had seen better days. 2 days later the frame came back from the powder coater and I must say they did an incredible job.

Here's the bike all assembled waiting for my custom decals to arrive.

Here's the end result with the custom decals.I'm still playing with the idea of adding some green and white accent pieces like white pedals. green grips, green lizard skin and possibly green cable housings.

I'm also starting on Bigfoot project # 2

I picked up a large blue 2008 Bigfoot frame a few weeks ago and decided to build a second larger Bigfoot for myself.

Here's what I started with but decided against using the DJ4 forks.

I've been slowly acquiring and I'm almost done the build up. I'm just missing a front derailleur.

Here's what I'm hoping it will look like when done. As you can see I used a Gulf Racing GT40 livery as my inspiration.

    Current bikes:
2018 Trek Top Fuel 9.8 SL
    2018 Trek Farley 7
    2015 Framed Alaskan Carbon
    2014 Giant TCX SLR2

Looks pretty good! I should consider doing that with my Sasquatch.
