2019 Sight, Med Frame & water bottle

Not a huge deal at all, we just picked up a new Sight A3 for my wife yesterday. She loves the bike, but after her first ride I went to put a bottle cage on the frame and noticed the cage will fit, but the shock would hit the bottle. Seems like a silly design flaw but something that should have been fairly obvious early on in the design process.

I just got a bottle cage on Amazon (Topeak Ninja) that came with some rubber straps in case you want to put it somewhere without bolts... could be strapped under the down tube?

But yes, it's a strange design flaw to have bolts where a bottle won't fit.

This helped me get a water bottle in my XS sized Kona Hei Hei frame:

There are other brackets, like pump brackets that use those mounts which can explain why put them there at all if a bottle won't fit.

I had the same issue on my 2015 Range when I went from the stock RS shock to a Cane Creek.
I eventually found a bottle cage that mounts a bit further forward so the shock reservoir clears the bottle, barely.
Topeak Shuttle Cage was the answer to my problems.

On my medium sight 29, I used a specialized side mount cage and then a regular size water bottle would fit fine.

But on my new medium range 29, the clearance is TIGHT! Same cage but there is only one water bottle that will fit it....
