    160 fork on 2016 Range?

I'm picking up a new to me 2016 Range A7.2 frame tomorrow and am starting the search for a fork. I know they're spec'd with a 170 but the market is way better for a 160. Also, I want a bike that is capable on my local stuff (Charlotte, NC XC with some hits here and there) but excels in the mountains (Pisgah). Will it hinder performance too much by running a 160 fork?

    Thanks.
PS Anyone have a good deal on a fork? Non boost.

The 2015 aluminum Range came with a 160mm fork and the frame was unchanged for 2016, you can stick any 160mm fork on it that you want without compromising the performance. You'll be fine with 160.

There are fantastic deals going on the Mattoc Pro 160mm. It also has a relatively long A2C length and so slackens out more than most other 160mm forks.
