Tyre choice on geared Sir 9

I have been running Ignitors 2.1 front and rear for a while and was thinking of replacing them with something different. I had previously run Karma 2.2s but did have a little trouble with the rear tyre rubbing lightly on the front derailleur when climbing in granny ring.

Was looking at either Crossmark or Conti Race Kings due to rolling resistance but see that the Race Kings come only in 2.2.

Does anyone else with a geared Sir 9 have these issues and what tyres do you use?

I know but I was looking to try something different. Was keen on the Race Kings but I have seen a few photos in another thread and they are a big tyre. I also saw some reviews that claim the width to be 2.22 or 56mm.
