    RLT9 Steel 2019 vs 2020

It's hard with all the hype in posts/reviews to distill what the differences are.

At the 4-5* level, it looks the big difference is GRX vs Ultegra. It looks like there is spacing for wider tires front/rear. It also looks like there are a few more mount points.

Outside of that, are there really any big differences?

I like the 2020 color, but there are some nice deals on 2019s.

I've wanted a steel RLT9 since they came out the year after I got my aluminum RLT9 - which will find it's way for sale once I replace it. Started with a Sir9 single speed, then added the Jet9 RDO and RLT9, slowly time to upgrade.

Steel is real.....I think wider tires, mount point and the new fork which has the internal routing and 12mm vs 15.

They both have the same geo and frame material. The main difference is 700x45mm max tire width last year vs 50mm for the new model, plus several more mounting points for bags and accessories. If you're not going to use those mounting points or large tires, it's the same bike.

I love the new paint scheme and details that went into it. But all those mounting points and cable guides really take away from its beauty. Otherwise I would have bought one. Instead I ended up buying last year's RDO.
