    More Niner Frame Issues :(

I've had my 2018 Niner Air 9 RDO for less than 6 months and discovered a crack in the carbon where the bearing seats. My local shop which is an authorized Niner dealer has confirmed that this is indeed a defective frame and has been trying to get in touch with Niner Warranty for almost two weeks with not a single response.

This will definitely be my last Niner frame based on this experience. Fortunately I have another XC bike for cases like this but not everyone has this luxury which means no riding for 3-4 weeks if this is to continue.

I understand that there can be mfg defects but the point of this thread is to express my disappointment with Niner's lack of communication. My shop has called multiple times, left VM's and also sent emails.

Please keep us updated. Mulitple VMs and emails with no response Makes it hard to stay a Niner fan when these reports keep coming in

How much do you trust your shop? I had a similar issue a few years back and called Niner directly after feeling like they were giving the shop the run around.

They had no record of contact from the shop and had a frame in the box on it's way to me the next day.

Might be worth a shot if you aren't 100% confident in your shop.

I'm very confident with my shop. They actually have helped me process a replacement Niner frame earlier in the year but that also took a few weeks.

    Update 8/10

My LBS got in touch with me and told me that Niner is honoring the warranty and working on sending me a new frame.

    Huffy doesn't own Niner.

The Company that owns Huffy also owns Niner.

Which really makes the trolling all the more idiotic.
