May I suggest a DVO fork? Great company to deal with. I have them on both my 2017 Rip RDO and my SC chameleon.

Yeah was thinking one of those since my other choice was an Ripmo AF. Seems like everyone likes their DVO setups. Other one is the CC Helm. Have to do some research.

How bout fork travel, mines the previous model(orange) with 150 rr travel so any preference on running 150 vs 160 up front on these?

Definitely 160. The BB is rather low and a 150 fork is only going to make things worse.

It's the previous 150 travel frame. Got a Lyrik headed my way.👍

    Which travel?

FWIW, Lyrik on my 2017 model is 170 and run ~ 30% sag with 27.5 wheels (2.8 tires), about 35% sag with 29er wheels (2.4 tires), works for me. I like being able to adapt to the wheel size change by only changing the fork sag. Don't run the 27.5 much though, gotta admit.

That is a total bummer! You say the bike came from Jenson? Brand new and showed up like that?

    *Disclaimer:
    Not a Jenson bashing.

I'd like to think it didn't leave that way. From what the lbs says it didn't arrive in a frame "box" rather a cardboard "envelope" like it would be within a complete bike build box. Not sure why QC was asleep at the wheel when it headed out from J.
I finally got ahold of an actual person on Friday afternoon after a week of no progress on my inquiry other than getting bumped into leaving a vm while on hold que in their phone system 4 of the days. I know they're swamped...

Anyway the person I talked with, Tucker, was super helpfull. He listened to my sob story, sent me his email, and I replied with pictures and info. He assured me he'd get on it today. Hopefully I'll get some good news on it soon.

I've had nothing but good dealings with Jenson. I'd say real bike boxes my be in short supply and they are looking for alternatives. And with the strain on shipping companies the smaller the footprint a box takes in the truck the better.

There was a 3 day delay in delivery. First delivery drop got pushed out to the following day but shop was closed so it rolled into the next. That might have caused it to be bunny hopped into different vans causing 3 times the shuffle and rough(er) handling....
