    Jet 9 RDO sizing question

I am thinking of pulling the trigger on a frame but putting the 34 stepcast 120mm on it. 120/120 is perfect for the kind of riding I do.

Does the Jet 9 run on the bigger side? I am 6ft with 33.5in inseam but I have short reach. Looks like a medium size would be better than a large with the Jet.

You may want to consider getting one the the spacers for the lower headset cup they have for the plus version so you don't drop the front end and steeper the ha too much.

I ride a medium. With short legs. 30Ē inseam. Iím cramped on a medium. I would prefer a large but my legs are too short.

The Jet isnít new school geo. It has a conservative reach.

I'm 5'10.5" and ride a large with a slammed 50mm stem and no-rise bars. 75cm saddle height (32" inseam). I have a 125mm ethirteen dropper because I wasn't sure if the 150 would have fit but it definitely would have.

    I love the fit.

I'd say that the current Jet has "first gen" longer/slacker geo. It's basically the same reach at the same wheelbase as the hightower and which are both a little longer (but same reach) as the tallboy and v2 5010. New Rip and current 5010/Bronson are all 1-1.5cm longer than the models they replaced.

But at my height and considering the riding I do (trail riding, no hucks, no racing, lots of tight, rooty, rocky NE singletrack) I find the large to be perfect.

I was getting a lot of pedal strikes with a 130mm fork. With a 120mm fork you had better me riding very smooth flat trails.

I live in ride in AZ so you may have a diffent experience.
