    Chainstay Protective Cover

The chainring protective cover (on the chainstay, just inside of the chain ring) fell off my Air9 RDO frame. Have any of you had to re-install these covers onto a carbon frame? Almost looks like it was some type of tape originally holding it on ... wondering what sealant or tape would be best to stick this back on?

    Thanks for any feedback!

Any Niner Reps here that can provide an answer? Is it a tape I can acquire from Niner?

I have used a heavy duty electrical insulating tape quite a bit on frames. Its pretty similar thickness to most chain stay guards and it sticks really well. And its dirt cheap. You can get it at most ace stores. I bet you would have the best results if you call niner. Which ever way you go, remember to clean you chainstay really well before putting it on.
