    2020 Refresh for 2017 RIP9

Been totally rocking my 2017 MY machine, but alas nothing is forever and found a crack on the chainstay last month.

Took a little time what with my LBS being in NE PA and me being in NC now, but big shout-out to Dave Temarantz at Sickler's Bike in Clarks Summit PA for great support, and thanks to the warranty support crew at Niner for timely handling.

Sure, they didn't have any orange triangles in stock to match my original, but I think the black goes great with the Lyrik fork.

To fill the time I put the bike through a serious 4 year refresh, changing out worn stuff and just upgrading some stuff.

    - New SRAM GX / eThirteen / RaceFace / KMC drivetrain ( 1x11 shift/derailleur, 9x46 cassette, 30t ring, 165mm Atlas cranks )
    - New RaceFace Next R handlebar to replace the salt-corroded Aeffect (same 760mm width, 20mm rise, and sweep )
    - Rebuilt wheelset around I9 Torch hubs, LightBicycle ReconPro AM930 carbon rims, DT spokes
    - Serviced 150mm LEV DX dropper, DebonAir shock, Lyrik fork
    - Currentl working on wearing out my Maxxis Rekon 2.4 tires, work really well here in Raleigh NC area

I think it all came together great, cheers1

I keep going over mine and looking for cracks but nothing so far. I did ask a couple years ago about warranty frames and was told that black has become the standard for replacement front and rear triangles. Glad she is still treating you right!

Looks nice, the black on each end does look good.

Interesting they changed the brake hose routing on that replacement rear triangle.

Definitely a better route though, some calipers will put the hose on the inside too and be most protected.
