What wacky geometry on Niner's mainstay 29er alloy hardtail frame.

They intend for this frame to be ran with a 50mm stem and 120mm fork. That's not incredibly aggressive, but the Size Large frame is 445mm reach with a 627mm top tube and a 74 STA. XL grows to 465mm reach, but the seat tube and standover are well...fitting for an XL.

Compare this with the Kona Honzo AL at 470mm reach, 655 top tube and 75 STA. I think Kona intended for the Honzo to be ran with a 35mm stem, but the difference between the two are pretty substantial (nearly 30mm reach).

The new Air 9 caught my eye because of its affordability and the fact the alloy frame is usually pretty lightweight, but these numbers are a bit wonky to me.
