Good job! 157x12mm Super boost on Niner Jet9, Rip9 and DTS9?

    Hello guys&gals

Now I wanna talk about super boost 157x12mm hubs and frames. There has always been an urge to get the most durable 36x4 cross rear wheel in 29ers. No-one has ever wished to give up on the stiffness of 29" wheels vs 26er wheels.
I realy would like to be able to get super boost on Niner frames. I surmise that 29ers ought to finally be the ultimate bicycle product and I guess that from 2000 when Garry Fisher invented 622mm offroad wheel we do ride some prototypes like 38mm front fork offset then 51, 139, 142mm and 148mm hubs.
Why not designing an ultimate 29er?

Please Niner make me a 157x12mm Jet Rip and DTS with super boost.

Considering how much my rear triangle squeezes in when mounting the wheel on my 2017 RIP9RDO, the super-boost 157mm hub may fit with less flex.

If I read the specs correctly the offset for the cassette and the brake disk are the same, from the outer point, the flanges are wider on the shell.

Find a dealer that carries Niner and Pivot and test it out.

No thanks. I hit my heals on my seat and chain stays enough as is.

I will say, I rode a pivot firebird at Dirt Fest with super boost and didn't even notice the difference. Wheel didn't feel any more stiff and didn't hit my heals anymore than I do on the Rip.

But, I'm not a fan of having a bike with odd parts. I already forget that my rip and ros have two different wheel standards.

Someone in the industry needs to throw the brakes on all of the stupid f*#$&ing changes to hub widths. FFS just leave things alone for a season or two.

I blame DT swiss and the other hub mfgrs for going along with it.
