'14-'15 WFO sizing vs/ New Rip?

The WFO was known for being short in the top tube. I like mine (medium) but I'd like to try something new. Whats the TT length comparison like between the WFO and the new Rip RDO? I've ridden a medium 2017 rip but didn't get a chance to ride a small. I found a good deal on a small RDO rip complete and would be selling almost everything from it and be putting on my non-boost CK hubs, DVO fork and shock as well as my drive train and seat post.

I have never ridden the WFO but I have a new RIP RDO. I never considered the WFO as the reach was too short in the XL. The new RIP grew long enough that it works well for me. Sorry I can't provide the feedback you are needing in your size range.
