The Sunline MTB V1 DH Stem - 1.5" Grey 65mm 1.5" 31.8mm arrived also, had to get this in Europe as none were available in the US of A

Not a huge amount of choice in the 1.5" department at this point for stems... Had Sunline kit back in the Moto X days... The part looks sharp....

what do you mean by "custom saddle"? I had a Aliante on my Road bike when it was stock... HOLY CRAP was that thing all sorts of wrong for my anatomy! I've never had such nut cramps in my life (was that too much). Something about the hammock like shape just didn't do it for me.

A helius would be ,y dream bike at this point... However, the flailing american $$ couple with an already heft price tag, will most likley make it a no go for me. Enjoy!

Me too, pressure is on though, Err is working his nuts off to get all the components, I leave for New Zealand on 21 december, so need all the components to me by 18th at least, other wise, it will be a no go till mid January.... So I have everything crossed.

That looks like a massivly sweet build Whafe, no costs spared. You are going for the German brakes then A pity SRAM don't make an X0 front derailleur; would give the opportunity for a completely Shitmano free bike. Just wondering, can you run a short cage rear derailleur with a two ring front setup (36/22t I take it?) and a big cassette in the rear?

Hey Boozzzz, run German brakes on all my bikes, have always had a really good run with Magura, easier to have all the one brand, less pads for me to stock at home...

Yeah, hear you on an XO Front Der. Am sure there is perfect business reasons why there isnt, but to me, it seems silly to only put R^D into a rear der and not a front as well.

And yes, i havent updated that spec list, I will be running a short cgae rear der.... Have alwasy runa mid cage for years and years with no issues with a triple ring set up... So am confident that a short cage will be sweet, as is Err.....

So all good, just need the stuff here, to touch and feel and play with it all.....

Haha....Whafe, it's only your encouragement that got me out there this year I'll have you know!

At this stage it's looking highly unlikely for next year but it is in the back of my head constantly. Am really keen so will see what the new year brings.

    You just keep a nudging!

That biuld is jaw dropping... That Sunline stem is plain gorgeous.

Can't wait to see it built!

I'd love a Helius FR too... just with a lighter tubing set for my skinny arse. That should mean custom , I think.... well, I should be dreaming by now, but in my bed. Not behind the keyboard.
