    The frame is being build at this moment, I think, I'll receive the frame the first week of June.
    As soon as my bike is build up, I'll post some pictures.

    I can't wait untill my frame is here!!!!

    Got my Argon CC 29er arriving in a couple of weeks, so thought I would post something here to let you know what the shape of my build is going to be. Still a few decisions outstanding, but I will probably update this thread as I make them.


    Riding terrain conditions:

    * Rider height, weight, ride style e.g XC, endurance,trail, hucker etc

    Height: 6'1", 200lb, all sorts - currently have an XC race bike and a 140mm trail bike, this is to replace my XC bike. Also got an AFR on order, which is in the process of being built up at the moment.


    * Frame, Size, & Color: Argon CC 29er large, Kawasaki green glossy powder coat, white decals, black ano cable guides. Frame modified to accomodate a Blackburn EX-1 rear rack for touring and baby carrying duties!
    * Fork: 2011 Fox 32 F29 FIT RLC QR15 100mm. 1 1/8" steerer
    * Shock, N/A
    * Brakes: 2009 Avid Juicy 5 - port from existing XC bike (2009 Trek 8000)
    * Cranks: 2009 Shimano XT - port from existing XC bike (2009 Trek 8000)
    * Shifters: 2009 Shimano SLX - port from existing XC bike (2009 Trek 8000)
    * Front Derailleur: : 2009 Shimano SLX - port from existing XC bike (2009 Trek 8000)
    * Rear Derailleur:: 2009 Shimano XT - port from existing XC bike (2009 Trek 8000)
    * Pedals: Shimano XT SPD port from existing XC bike (2009 Trek 8000)
    * Stem: Easton EA90 100mm 0 deg rise white
    * Handlebar: Easton EA70 MonkeyLite CNT XC Riser 685mm 2" rise

    A bit longer than a couple of weeks... took ages for the Forks to come into stock from the US. Aftermarket 29er forks are not stock items at the Fox distributor in the UK...



    There's a shot of it built up and ready to ride. Frame and new components plus build from Moonglu (www.moonglu.com) in the UK.

    Cranks got changed to E.13/Hive XC single ring chainset with an E.13 chain device.
    Headset got changed to Hope XC

    Bars and stem are still the old ones from my Trek, as is the seatpost - vague attempt to cut costs I guess.

    is it just the rohloff ready frames that have a sliding drop out and the other frames have a bolt on, but not sliding rop out?

    The CC (non-Rohloff/RoCC) frames have the normal bolt on RADO.
