    Zuni conditions?

Passing thru NM on Tuesday. I have never ridden Zuni trails, but read somewhere May-Nov is ideal time to ride it. Appreciate any insight.
The only trace I leave behind is tire marks.

Bump this question after storm system this weekend. Anyone, please?

(Doesn't look like much precip fell but interested in the general conditions.)

Trails were snow covered on some parts today. It really came down for a while out there, but trails were pretty firm, not really bad, I suppose because it was quite cold and I was on a fatty. My guess would be it should be pretty good in a day or by the afternoon because of how dry it has been. The soil sucks up the moisture fairly quickly. If it is quite damp, the Berma gets the worst mud.

The Zunis are pretty much dried up, so unless it's raining or snowing the trails will be good. I saw a few patches of snow and some puddles from the last few days, definitely had some precip up there. Yay!

The Zuni Mountains trails are about as good as they get, afternoon thunderstorms are common, very green, flowers getting going!

I rode the Zuni trails pretty extensively less than a month ago. They were in great shape. Fast and flowing for the most part. However, New Mexico has officially transitioned into monsoon season so as already stated, afternoon rain storms will be a constant consideration for the next month or two.

^ It's beautiful at 8:30, riding before 10 am is advised.
