    White Mesa this weekend?

A few of us Taoseños were hoping to check out White Mesa this Saturday (2/17)...I've seen warnings on here not to ride if wet or the wind is blowing. How much moisture did you ABQ folks get this week? Will White Mesa be dry enough to ride? Thanks.

Are you driving out just for White Mesa? Place is barely worth the drive from abq lol, damn sure wouldn't drive from Taos for it.

What if we were driving on down on Saturday for the most awesome trail around Albuquerque, but one that sucks to ride when it's muddy? Should we still make the trip? And what's the trail?

really isnt anything but standard rides right now. footies, golden, wm, placitas. No way to tell if wm is muddy unless someone reports.

So you should seriously consider riding in Los Alamos! All of the trails around town are dry but tacky from the recent snow that has already melted. I'd give you a guide but plan to head up to TSV Saturday for the recent snow. White Mesa is the place we usually go this time of year when we're snowed out but that's not the case right now. It's probably fine but isn't the place to go when muddy. If you stop in at our LBS, Fusion Multi-sport, Brad will give you a map and suggest some good local trails to ride. We rode at noon today and the trails were the best they've been all winter.
