I imagine it is muddy today (Wednesday 3/28) but wondering if anyone can confirm or deny? I would like to head up there around 1600, but if its muddy I will go to SFH.

A little dusting of snow here by Raven Rd. Should be gone shortly and make for some good conditions today.

A little over an inch of rain yesterday evening near David Canyon. Things are pretty wet and soft right now. By mid morning things should get good. Just give it a little time.

There was some standing water in a couple of spots in lower Otero yesterday and things were a little on the damp side every where. Standing water is probably still there but trail conditions over all should be pretty good today

The Oak Flats side was good to go today despite accidentally riding like a third of a rando bike race course.

Yesterday Kerry had a rock crew out on Three Bottles. They armored the landings at both Double Diamond lines. And work at sub rock. All were in need of a little help. Thanks for the hard work Kerry. Nothing left to do but Hit That $hit

I hope to ride three bottles and along to birdhouse in the morning- curious if it'll be rideable or too muddy?

Until I get a chance to get out there, The transition for the drop of the upper Double Diamond line is pretty flat after the armoring work. I'll try and take care of that soon. Just be aware. Work on the lower double diamond didn't get started yet.

It's been raining for a couple of hours and looks like it will last for a little longer. It will be wet and muddy early tomorrow at best.

It was spectacular out there this morning! Humid, but the trails are in great shape (extra chunky compared to my last time over there). Lots of tacky dirt for the rare occasions when you're not motoring over rocks.

I'm previously committed to the Walk for Life tomorrow morning. Otherwise, I would love to ride with you. Another time hopefully.

I have tried to get permission to drive in and do the repairs but not granted yet. Not sure why. Other wise it would have been complete by now. To much to do from my bike. If I could get permission drive in with tools I could keep up with things easily. From my bike . Not so much.

Hey Dan, Here near David Canyon there is still about 50% snow coverage, Otero and Tunnel have melted quite a bit. Catch it early before the thaw.

Just got back. Conditions are borderline. There’s still a bit of snow, but it wasn’t melting much, so it wasn’t too wet. I’d say, try to go when it’s cool out, or it could be muddy.

I was out there again Wednesday mid-day. There was still plenty of snow, maybe 10% coverage, maybe a little more..? But no mud at all. It seems like the snow is just not melting in the shade, and in the sun it's already dry.

I rode from mars court to the bottom of otero canyon yesterday, it wasn't great. 90% snow coverage, a couple inches, and some pretty muddy areas, particularly at bottom of otero. It's rideable but not that fun, i only had to walk the muddy areas and that was more to not damage them trails than not being able to ride them. 3 bottles had the most snow, it's still rideable, I was even was able to do some of the drops, but still not much fun. I doubt it will be good next weekend either. Even with a decent week, it will likely be all mud.
