    Nambe a No-Go for now

The earlier weather report for today was supposed to be really cold and I thought we could get out to Nambe before it thawed. It ended up being well above freezing by the time we got out there and there was still plenty of snow melting. We tried for a bit but quickly turned around before doing much damage to the trail or our bikes and hit a car wash to get the 1/2"+ thick mud cake off our bikes and tires. I forgot how bad the mud is out there and will have to wait another week or so to hit our favorite nearby winter riding spot. It would have actually been great if we had gotten there at something like 6am before the the thaw.

I did get to play with my new DRIFT POV video camera that I had mounted to my bars (no descent XC helmet mount yet). These two shots are taken off the actual video stream, one in 720 mode and the second in 1080. The mud bog video was too boring to bother editing and posting but it really takes good video and has an LCD to quickly review and setup videos.
