    GOOD bike shops in Vegas?

    Hi guys

For the entire week of the Interbike , I'll flying to Las Vegas and I want to check some of the stuff (closeout bikes/accesories) that they may have,...so, what LBS do you recommend there, that will be open during the Interbike trade show?

    Thanks guys!

    bye

My two personal favorite shops are Las Vegas Cyclery off of Charleston, and Peloton Bikes off of Buffalo.

I've made pretty good friends with a few of the guys & LV Cyclery, and always get treated awesomely. They always get me in and out as quick as possible with the right service, and the right price. They also have a lot IN STOCK compared to other shops, as they seem to be a higher volume business running Escape Adventures as well.

Peloton is awesome because it's a Mom & Pop type shop. They stock quite a bit of Trek bikes, and high end equipment and gear. Super friendly guys and gals that work there, and My brother and I had a great experience there when he purchased his Trek 6500 a few months back. Have since used them for accessories, small parts, tubes, a few chains, etc.

They tend to stock more Roadie gear than MTB, but all in all I love that little shop.

Southwest bikes (Up north, off of Azure & hwy 215) is another cool little hole in the wall. The owner is pretty awesome, and has hooked me up with accessories and parts that I need on the regular. It's close to where i live so if I need small items I'll drop in there. His prices are pretty reasonable, and he stocks mostly Kona & Bianchi bikes. Great outfit, with a knowledgable staff as well.

You in Oklahoma City? If yes, come ride with us.

I recommend Las Vegas Pro Cyclery, also on West Charleston (7000 block). Bought my bike there, had excellent service!

Thanks a lot guys for your suggestion...regarding that...wich LBS do you think will carry the MTB Powertap, maybe not in stock, but it may carry it with a couple of mails before my arrival.

    Thanks!

    Fran,

I'd recommend talking to ProCyclery. They have the best wheelshop around, and have always treated me right.

... and if we just ...

Don't believe anything this guy says, he is a compulsive liar.

With that being said, I agree with his suggestions.

Of all the shops that I've been to in Vegas, Southwest bikes has treated me the best. LV Cyclery is okay but too pricey.

Pick up the phone and call them. I know they get spammed on that email address so it may be awhile before they respond.

If you are going to be near Boulder City to ride Bootleg canyon check with All Mountain Cyclery. I drive from my house in Henderson to All Mountain to have my bike serviced, purchase parts and etc.

Remember Bootleg Canyon made a biking magazines bucket list of 100. All mtn will take care of you, I ride their at least 2-3 times a week and I am not a downhill rider. If you decide on bootleg I could meet you some morning to ride...
